The irony is that I'm an accountant

I don't check my mail as often as I should. This is namely because I park on P2 and go directly to my apartment on the 10th floor. Stopping to check my mail at the lobby would rob me of one minute that I could use to do the other pressing things that occupy my time such as: playing Sudoku; masturbating; watching Boston Legal; running in circles; and posting bullshit ads on CL (god, that's fun).
Yes. Today was a fun day to check the mail. I mean, I knew I was broke, but I didn't realize how broke until my AMEX, Mastercard and HBC credit card bills came in today. Wow! I lead a very fun and extravagant life. Just wish I could actually afford it.
The bike is out. I have now offered to buy Michael's cast off because he's thinking of getting rid of it and he'll probably give it to me for a decent price. Or maybe not.
So this is what it's like to live from hand to mouth. Fascinating experience. Can't say I like it too much.
I had coffee with L today. That was fun. We both agreed that we didn't want to work anymore. It's just a really arduous waste of time and we'd much rather be doing other things. L espoused this sentiment to her mother who replied that L had missed the boat: she clearly should have married a wealthy older man when she was 18 and popped out a baby to secure the deal and then she could be living the life she so wanted.
Bah. Michael said he would lend me some dosh at 3% so I will do that. I feel as stupid as I did that time when I was like 20 and living on my own for the first time. I went to an ATM to get some cash out, but I couldn't because the bank had put a hold on my pay cheque and I freaked out because I knew my rent was also scheduled to come out shortly. So I continued on to my parent's place and my dad was there and I told him my sob story and, without saying anything, he went away for a few minutes and then returned and gave me $1,000 cash: no questions asked; no lectures.
Ah, money.

Just wanted to say, you have a great profile, it made me smile. Be eccentric nobody remembers anyone that is normal.
