Went to my mom's for dinner tonight.
Then I started my stint as a house sitter. I've never house sat before. I love this place!! They have the life and setup that I want. It's maybe a thousand square feet and they have a garden that they grow food in and a wicked music selection and a satellite dish with 300 channels. Their house is great: totally relaxing and wonderful and I don't think I would do much different. They're super, super environmentally conscious and they have a really cute cat that keeps yawning at me.
They left me a bottle of wine and $60 for food. I don't think I'll take the money, but I'll drink the wine, surely!
Now I'm not sure whether to chill on the couch and listen to the great tunes and surf the web, or hop in the tub with a glass of wine and start the new book I picked up for book club, or check out the various channels that they have.
Hmm... music, book, bath and wine it is.
I never want to leave here.
Grin.

No photos? C'mon Duder. You at least have to post one of the cat.
Speaking of a yawning cat, be careful. It's a trick. Happened to me once. I was cat sitting for a friend and the cat kept yawning, which made me yawn. Eventually, he put me to sleep with all the yawning. When I woke up he was gone and so was my wallet and my stash of high-grade catnip.
LOL GIL... was it Acapulco cat nip? Cat's can't resist that stuff. I'm sorry, but you do look like an easy target...
Yes, we want photos. I want the simple uncluttered life of wine, books and music, and if I can't have it, at least I can live vicariously through you while you are living vicariously through someone else.
