Aussi

I really enjoyed the conversation about our perception of ourselves versus other people's perceptions of us. Though I'm still not sure what the reality is. I guess your reality is yours and mine is mine. The whole concept of reality is pretty interesting, like what Skyhammer said about asking ten different people for their impression of the same thing.
And the theory of "living in the now" continues to interest me and continues to be something that I try for a while and then I sort of fall off the wagon. And what about boundaries? Actually, I think I'm confusing "being in the now" with "if it feels good do it", though they're kind of similar.
Boy, it's really hard to have these kinds of conversations alone.
At any rate, I would like to point out the pansies in the picture: they were planted recently. Like within the last month or so. I remember remarking to Michael that I thought it was really weird because don't pansies get planted in the spring and why would they plant them in November or December when it's going to get cold and snow? And then it got cold and snowed and it's semi-tragic to see their bright little colors burdened under the snow. Are they dead? What a cruel joke of a life, then. It's horrible.
But I got my teeth fixed today, so that's good.

They are weird little flowers... once it starts getting ware in the spring they start getting really long and stretched out and look very sickly. They love the cold.
