Something makes you feel like the grass is greener on the other side. But where is the other side?

Had a shit day. It was mostly in my head (like most things). And most people are in the same boat that I'm in so... there's that.
I came back from dinner with L feeling not as engaged and excited about life as I normally am (again, this is all me). I was supposed to go and see Michael but instead, at 8.30pm, I went to the gym for over half an hour. I do feel better.
While I was riding the bike into the ground this song came on.
So prophetic. I love it. The lyrics made their way past the anger and fatigue and resonated in my pea brain.
I promise to be happy and full of sunshine and butterflies tomorrow.
