And the boat, well you know she's still rockin' it

Race day tomorrow. Or a precursor to race day, depending on how you look at it.
I've actually been good all this clinic. Normally I start whinging and complaining before the runs that are in the 18 to 23 mile range, but I only complained mildly about last week's 23 miler before it happened.
Tomorrow's half marathon I'm a little worried about. The time that I am shooting for, if I had achieved that time in the same race last year, would have placed me 2nd in my age category. And by the way? The age categories are in ten year increments! Normally I'm in the 30-35 range, but this would've landed me 2nd in the bloody 30-39 range.
So the pressure's on a little bit. And it's in South Surrey and the package pickup is beforehand so we have to get up extra early and my period is going to happen any second now (likely during the run because hey, wouldn't that be fun) and it's supposed to rain which sucks because it's harder to figure out how to dress and I won't be able to bring my Shuffle in case it short circuits and fries my brain and I know that it's not good etiquette to wear headphones when you race but it's a bit of a crutch for me (though no, I absolutely did not wear them in Boston).
Phew.
Thanks for listening to me bitch.
I'll just be glad when it's over.

You just listed 3 of the reasons I don't run. My age range, I would be with the old ones. Listening to a shuffle, I get the theme from Jaws in my head as I'm coming up on someone, and my period... if I run, I start. It has nothing to with the time of the month and everything to do with my girlie bits falling out. Diva Cup.
