It's cheaper to have a menage a trois in the States

This morning I stunned Michael twice in that: a) I got out of bed and said I would go for a run in a timely fashion and b) I incorporated a Danish into my breakfast. I knew I blew his mind when I said I would go for a run. I didn't want to: the pillows and bed were really comfy at the Quality Inn in Olympia.
I think a lot of people just pass through Olympia. I heard people up early this morning, checking out and heading to the next destination. We ran through the aptly named Marathon Park which goes along Budd Bay and Capitol Lake. It was a great morning for a run and it was a really nice path along the heavily treed lake.
Back in the car we headed up the I-5 past Bellevue, Seattle, Everett. Not necessarily in that order. It all starts to blur together when your ass is starting to go numb and traffic comes to a complete stop and you encounter two Hummers in the space of ten minutes.
Went for an excellent lunch at the Archer Ale House in Fairhaven and checked out the local bookstore before having a coffee at the Colophon Cafe and hitting a liquor store to meet my quota of allowable wine to transport home.
Menage a Trois? $18 a bottle here. I paid maybe $9 for it in Fairhaven. I surely could've gotten it cheaper elsewhere, but them's the breaks. Try this wine. It is so delectable. It's in my top ten. It's a beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel. I almost wish I didn't like it so much because I can't afford it. Can't wait to get into the the two Liberty School choices. Sigh.
I'm sort of happy to be home because I'm tired. We travelled so much over the past two weeks (and ran a half marathon) that it's nice to be home. On the flip side: I don't want to work anymore.
It was nice to spend to full on weeks with Michael. I think we did well. We had some minor disagreements but otherwise got on fine, did our own thing, had fun, were laid back. I think the prospect of living together again terrifies him less.
I can't believe how quickly it all went by.
I can't believe how much we have to pay for wine here.
