I've got a sneaky kind of selfish that I keep up on the shelf with jars of double-sided comments for people who've done nothing wrong

Today I ran the same route that I always run. It was hotter than it normally is, but it was still 15th, Williams, LVR, Kirkstone, Mountain Highway, LVR, 19th, 23rd, St. Georges and home. I can do it in my sleep.
I'm being pissy. I make myself sick with my whingeing.
The good news is that Ed is 93 and my grandmother is in her late 80s and they had me laughing out loud at the lunch table in the home where they live, unassisted, that has a 160 degree view of the water, Howe Sound and UBC. I give Ed a hard time, but I hope to be half as with it as he is at 93 and, though he's a Conservative and watches CNN incessantly and is prone to prattle on about himself, he was listening to CBC2 when my mom and I were there on Monday and he is generous to his family and he takes interest in the things that are happening in his life.
The good news is that my brother had an awesome weekend with his supermoto races and he went to a drift event (pic courtesy of him) and he's not much of a communicator so I know that, in order for him to have emailed a few of us, he truly had a kick ass weekend.
The good news is that the finance department won the company fitness challenge by 0.3 points and this was because the controller showed up at the last minute, sans shoes, and did boot camp with us. We get a catered lunch for winning.
I want burgers and fries and smokies and bacon and potato chips and cake.
What?
