It's still a good movie, though."Metropolitan" is one of those films that I turn off with twenty minutes remaining to delay the inevitable.
I ended it (so as to better savour the last remnants) after this line was uttered: "The acid test is whether you take any pleasure in responding to the question "What do you do?" I can't bear it. "
