Afterwards we checked out the water show at the Bellagio and then went up the Eiffel tower to take in the view (and another water show).
Did I mention it was cold in Vegas?
The day before the run we were out for a light jog and this woman starts chatting us up at one of the lights that takes four days to change (so you can get someone's life history before crossing the street if you so desire) and she was really concerned about how cold it was. We agreed it was cold but that it wasn't too bad and we weren't entirely worried about it which seemed to fluster her so she demanded to know where we were from and we said Vancouver and she said "well no wonder! Nice vacation... lots of food and drink, lots of greats sights and a fabulous show to top it off. Yeah, we Texans don't get concerned about the weather unless the weather remains the same for 48 hours. It can get cold, but the next day should show a sign of warming up and I mean warming up fast. We like a 30 degree temp change within 24 hours or something is dreadfully wrong.
