Gels are STILL significantly cheaper at MEC

In the past few days I have devoured various pumpkin flavoured things. I tasted a pumpkin latte. I ate a pumpkin spice doughnut. I drank two pumpkin ales (so good).
Yes. It is that day. My thoughts on Hallowe'en have varied little from last year. And I didn't dress up. Though I did laugh my ass off when Borat came in to the tapas bar where Michael and I were having (surprisingly) some tapas on Friday night and said "Very nice, very nice: how much?". He was wearing the Borat unitard/bathing suit and I'm sure his testicles had retreated into his body cavity, but I'm pretty sure there's a vodka for that.
It was absolutely stellar today so we went for a mammoth three hour walk over the Lions Gate and around the seawall. I felt like it was a veritable postcard everywhere I looked. The light was beautiful, it was a high tide, the sun was shining, there was a light chop on the water, the leaves were turning. I live in what has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Notwithstanding the "sexy kittens" that served us dinner at the pub in West Van, of course.
I swear. I lost Michael from the point where one waitress lamented to another that it wasn't her leather (pleather?) knee high stiletto boots that were giving her grief, it was her fishnet stockings.
I was like, "Totally ignore me if you're going to buy me a new Dell laptop for my birthday" and "Don't say anything if you feel strongly inclined to rent a carpet shampoo machine from Safeway and clean the rug in my living room".
Sweet! The new Dell laptops come with Windows 7!

As much as I'd like to stop using everything Microsoft, Windows 7 is great! I only have the release candidate, which expires in March, I think, but it's rock solid and so much faster than Vista.

I've tried Ubuntu (a version of Linux) and although it's fast, free and stable it's just not (yet) as easy to use as Windows, sadly.

Sorry, going all geek on you ;-)

Whenever I use a computer that has Vista I have a small stroke. I hate Vista with all my heart and I don't understand what the general public did to make Bill Gates so mad as to unleash such a crap product to the masses.
Windows 7 is nice. It has helped lower my blood pressure. I look forward to a return to normalcy in my relationship with my future O/S.
