Do you ever wonder if you could be yourself from ten or fifteen years ago, but in the present, and what the past self would think of your current life?
I was pondering just that as I was sprawled on my couch tonight, drinking glass of wine number two, having just watched "Smokin' Aces", listening to Groove Salad and fielding fascinating emails.
I remembered to pick up the key so I can house sit this weekend. I'm excited: 200ish channels and, um, I get to be in a house instead of an apartment. And they have the cutest cat which I am totally going to take pictures of. When I picked up the key they were like "we're going grocery shopping before we leave, do you have any special requests for any treats?". That's so nice. They are really healthy people and so I should've said I wanted some Cheetos or something horrid, but I was like no, it'll be alright. Just leave the instructions for the television. They showed me once and it was approximately on par with grade 11 calculus.
Let's see. The other thing that I did was Upward Dog for a very long time because my lower back pain reached unbelievable levels today and I know it's because I'm running so much and not doing enough yoga and my glute and hamstrings are pulling my facking back out of goddamn alignment. Have I mentioned running is sexy? I still have a welt from where my water belt chaffed me last Sunday. It was fun when I hopped in the shower and the salt got all in there. I love salt.
The important thing is that my back went clunk as I tried to relax my back muscles and the pain has significantly subsided.
And yes, I will totally do yoga on either Friday or Saturday to try and lengthen some of my muscles.
I lost you all after I mentioned calculus, didn't I.

I had a small bag of horrid cheetos last night. It's been a long time since I'd had cheetos and the cheese/heroin they use on them is still just as potent as I remember.
One more thing, look for FitTV while scrolling the channels this weekend. They have a really good Yoga show 4 times a day. Namaste Yoga.
