It's really cold today so I'm not going to the clinic: I am going to do stairs instead, I think. That'll warm me up right quick.
For my first day at work the Finance team had a potluck lunch for me which was really nice. So far it's a steep learning curve (new industry, two new accounting software programs, new chart of accounts) but I'm doing my best and the people seem really friendly.
And yep, they totally turn off their computers at 5 o'clock and are out the door, which is right up my alley.
Traffic getting there was horrible this morning, but that's likely due to the snow. Coming back this evening it was a breeze: same commute time or less than my last job.
Michael made fun of me because I don't get to go for coffee with hot guys anymore.
I'm not gonna lie: I do surely miss it. But that's what Monday's off are for.
