I didn't puke...

... but I came pretty close. I must admit to being a little cocky about the speed. I was thinking "oh, it's just four 800's". Which really is only 3.2 kilometres, but we were doing it so fast. Like, way faster than my race pace even. Uhn.
And then? Because life is glorious? Starbucks comped our coffees tonight! The barrista said "oh, my cash register is broken" and that it was on the house cause she sees us in there so often. We are there a lot. Like, three times a week. Eek! But it's why I run: the social bit afterwards. I love my running buddies - they're all such interesting and funny and nice people.
Now to finish off the book for tomorrow's book club. Yay book club!
Wow. Running + free coffee = ecstatic Duder.

One of my co-workers ran the Houston Marathon last weekend in 4.??. It was her first major marathon.

My Barrista is good to me too and I only go in there once a week. That's what I like about Starbucks... it's the way they run their company.
