Dan Mangan tonight. Opening was the Crackling and something about Hell. I gotta figure out who they were because they were great. Funny. Dark.
While Michael and L and his friend and I were waiting in line to get in this couple passed us down the alley and I said "That's Dan Mangan".
I mean, pretty cool timing, right?
This song made me cry and Michael thought I was retarded.
Oh, the best bit? Veda Hille popped in to sing backup. Yeah. I was listening to CBC2 once and she so blew me away that, well, I was blown away and then CBC said one of her upcoming dates was on Lasqueti Island. Like, WTF. And there she was. The woman that sings my theme song "Lucky Luck" is there with the new indie Vancouver act and it was super cool.
