Yasso 800s

Yes. An uninspired name. I'm hot and sleepy.
Work was work.
Didn't want to go to the clinic because I stayed up a little late last night doing things that athletes aren't supposed to do.
Regardless, I went.
Time to take it up a notch. There is a "Run Faster" clinic on Tuesday nights and, as fun as it is to be a big fish in a small pond, I have reached the point where I need to move to the next level and challenge myself a little more. 6 x 800s coming in at a consistent 3 minutes 30 seconds.
A small fish in a big, fast moving pond I shall be.
Michael finished before me, naturally, but came out and pushed me for the last 400 meters. I gave it all I had.
It was sort of like when I fell back on Sunday and told him and J to go on and that I would wait for the next group to catch up with me, but then out of nowhere C came running up and started deriding me for walking. He pushed me pretty good until we caught up with Michael and J again. He told them he had found me in the fetal position on the sidewalk. Ha ha.
It's good to push it.
Speaking of pushing it, best of luck to C who heads out to an adventure race in Costa Rica tomorrow: 500 kilometres in 4.5 days.
Yeah. I really gotta pick it up a little.

Cool photo and I still can't understand running like you do. I play basketball at least three days a week on a knee that needs to be replaced. Maybe it's the same thing. The "I gotta do this regardless" thing. Run on, little missy.
