There is a spider in the bathtub

Drove to Penticton today. We took it pretty easy, stopping in Chilliwack for lunch and Princeton for a coffee.
Checked into the same hotel that we stayed in two years ago which is where I was when I got the knock on the door and was told that my father had been in an accident and was killed. The two year anniversary will be in 10 days.
It's been weighing on my mind, coming back. The owners remember us and are very kind. So many things are the same this time as last time.
Ah. Smile and have another glass of wine. My sister in law loves my tattoo.
Back to the hotel. It's cheap, it has a pool and A/C and it's close to everything we need. It doesn't, however, have an upgraded electrical system so when the battery on this baby dies I will have to charge it at Michael's mom's house (or any other dwelling built after the 1950s).
It was a fun night, though. A nice barbeque outside, people I haven't seen in years, lots of hugs, two desserts, some great wine, lots of laughs.
And a spider in the bathtub.
