Ya know, "An Education" got 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and "Funny People" landed 68%.I am an RT gal. I agree with most of their ratings. But was "An Education" deserved of a 94% rating? No.
I recommend "Funny People". It's not funny. It's sad and painful and it's real and it's poignant and it showcases Sandler's phenomenal acting ability and it touches on choices that we have to make in life and it has an ending that isn't Hollywood.
This is me. Delaying the inevitable retirement to a big, empty bed.
Ah well. I like to sleep diagonally.
So I've got that going on.
