Terrible. I can't believe I finished it. And I can't believe it's a NY Times Bestseller. I was actually happy when the main character died because I knew things would wrap up quickly after that. Terrible. Terrible.
Well I went and checked it out at the library the day after you posted about it. The only copy they had was the LARGE PRINT. You would think it would be easier to read that way, but in fact you revert back to your childhood and start putting your finger under every word as you sound them out. I haven't even finished the first chapter.... it's so boring. I think I'll pass on it and read the 4th in the series of it's competition. It's one of the Blossom Street books by Debbie Macomber. First 3 not too bad, but they could have been better... sure not a hip thruster. That's a sure way to ruin your knitting when you pick up one of those.
