Horseshoe

Tonight I lost control of my car on my way home because I am utterly exhausted and I was speeding when I shouldn't have been because it rained today and it hasn't rained for a while (as a weird precursor to this: I scraped my front bumper when I was pulling out of my parking stall at work: I have never scraped either bumper of any car that I have driven in the sixteen years that I have been driving).
And I don't mean I lost a bit of control: I mean by the time my tires stopped squealing I was facing the wrong way and my car had stalled because I had been going backwards even though my car was in drive.
Think about that for minute. I am.
I'm not sure why I'm not in the hospital and I'm also not sure why I managed to not hit the guard rail on either side of the on ramp and it occurs to me that I really need to get my act together.

This is really, REALLY bizarre. Yesterday I scraped the front bumper of my car. Then I visit your blog and find that your scraped the front bumper of your car yesterday too. Fecking spooky!

PS Glad you're OK after losing control of your car.

Oh fuck. I'm just about to go out and I've just had a thought - am I about to lose control of my car too? I mean, the bumper thing (why do I keep typing bumber???) is a totally bizarre coincidence. Is someone/something trying to tell me something?

Shit, something weird has just happened while typing this - it looked like an 'invisible' window on my laptop just minimised itself. Can't see any programs open that I don't know about. Strange. Fuck this is seriously spooking me.

OE, pull yourself together, go get a pint for you and the ghost.

Duder, you must have had a Traveling Troll Doll with you. I did that once on ice and barely missed the back end of a Semi-truck. And then could have rolled over when I went out into the grassy median. Jolea was holding the purple haired Traveling Troll Doll and swore that's what saved us. So when you make it through the spin-outs unscathed then it's the TTD. Glad you're OK. Get some sleep.

OE, you could probably use a nap too, cuz you're seeing things.

Thanks, guys. Gonna take it easy on a go forward.
I re-lived it a couple of times at work today and I still don't know how it is that I walked away unscathed.
Down time is good. I have some coming this weekend.
