I put it to bed. Now I'm going to bed.

Up at stupid o'clock. Pick up Michael. Pick up Big D (who was running his first half and also raised $700 for the BC Cancer Society through pledges). Stop at the 24 hour McDonald's in Kerrisdale to use their washroom so we didn't have to use the port-o-potties at the race. Use the port-o-potties at the race.
Run far. Cringe as the sun comes out. Wave at my mom that came out to cheer us on in Kits! Try to hold on to my pace. Refrain from doing a jig at the crest of the Burrard Street bridge. Pull off my earphones to listen to the crowd cheering and the announcer calling out names, to wave at a coworker that saw me, and at Michael who had already finished and was screaming at me from the sidelines.
Pull in with a 1:39:43. 20/355 for my age group. Personal best half marathon.
Michael, even with plantar fasciitis and limited training leading up today came in with 1:31:58. 17/202 for his age group. Personal best half marathon.
Big D, running his inaugural half came in at 2:08:12 with a smile on his face and a spring in his step
It was so much fun that I'm going to have a nap now.
