Napped on my balcony this morning. This was followed by an extraordinarily sweaty work out in the gym. And then an impromptu chat with Michael in the park.I then went to the Robot Liberator's BBQ. Haven't seen him for ages. My old boss was there, as well as another guy I used to work with. It was really good to catch up and to meet new people. Well, meet the new people that were way more social than me and that came over to chat because I was firmly and resolutely fastened to my chair because I'm socially stunted.
Came home and was listening to "The Signal" on CBC because it's chill and downtempo and this cool song comes on and afterwards the announcer says it was Veda Hille. And the song was "Lucklucky". And... ready? Are you holding onto your chair? She was playing at Lasqueti tonight.
Come on.

Oh, and while I was simply typing out this freaking blog? They played another Veda Hille song.

That was great. Some great lyrics in there. Video is pretty cool and yes, I caught the W. Great 'local' feel to it.
