Ah, memories...

Yeah. I really have no new material. Wanna guess what I did today? I worked and then I ran and now I'm drinking wine. DOESANYOFTHISSURPRISEANYONE?
Ashually, I did mail my taxes and pick up this month's book club selection, so I'm pretty pleased with that. Okay, and I did make grilled vegetables tonight on a lark and didn't burn the place down.
My point is this: I listened to the coolest story on CBC2 this morning. It was about this dog that was on a boat and it fell overboard and the family was bereft because they thought their canine companion was gone, but the dog swam like four or five miles, ended up on some island and lived there, sustaining itself on the resident feral sheep for four months! Other boaters that had heard the sad plight of the dog in the drink that were passing this island saw the dog, picked it up and returned it to the family. These are news stories I want to hear!!
Also. Taking a trip down memory lane. This is what I was doing at about this time in 2007. And in 2008.
I think I was a lot funnier in 2007.

I would have liked the dog story...

You are such a tease... I wanted to see just how funny you were in 07 but it's blocked.

I just saw the story on the news, they pushed it as the feel good story of the day. They also thanked you for the tip on this story, they read your blog last night. I wonder if the dog will continue hunting and eating sheep now that she's home?

You know, they actually did wonder about the whole wild dog/domesticated dog scenario, but apparently it has not yet started killing local neighbourhood animals. Which is good.
Also, I unlocked the 2007 blog so you should be able to read it now.

Once a dog kills a lamb or a ewe they sort of get addicted to it. They like chasing them because of they way they jump and bounce when being chased. Kind of like a cat with a mouse.
