You know you're 32 years old when...

... you come home, kick off your Privos, pour a glass of Spanish red, dig into the smoked oysters, and start building laptops on the Dell site (I've built three to compare and contrast). And then you call your partner to get his opinion as to whether you should go for the 320GB SATA hard drive or the 128GB Solid State drive.
And he gets kind of excited.
And wants to know when you're coming over next.
I frickin' love my life.

Yeah, my guy gets really excited when I start talking about solid state drives. He's just bought me an HP Netbook (solid cos much better for travel and I am clumsy. My last computer when flying across the boat when I gybed by accident)and is sending it this week(from the States) and he just loves it.
I like solid state drives too. Evil roar.

Hubby built this Dell I use, he was going to use it for work... It came with a red line down the right side of the screen, about two inches in from the edge. It's just there. He called them and wanted them to send out another while he sent this one back. Dell said no, you send it we'll work on it while you do without and we might send it back in a YEAR! His reply... Screw you, we'll never buy another Dell product. He won't use it, but I do and don't pay any attention to the line. The only down fall to this one is it's a Big Man puter! Fricking Huge! It's better than using the Dell with the crappy keyboard that has backwards letters. He's thinking Viso next time.

I only use Mac's. I can't relate. Besides, I'm a guy and you ladies intimidate me.

Jolea has a Mac and I LOVE that thing. It has so many cool features. Mac is not cool in Hubby's line of business. Jolea says it's more of a writers computer. Not a control panel designer computer.

Cool building, I'm a bit of a fan of streamline modern. Used to pass the Luma building in Glasgow everyday.

Ha! I thought, as I was snapping the photo, "no one's going to care about this but me". I'm a big fan of modernism (and architecture overall).

Your guy bought you one? Nice! Michael offered because he saw me drooling over it often enough, but I couldn't accept it (cause I'm gonna trick it right out and it's gonna cost 4k to build.... kidding).
Jomamma and God: I did look into Macs a little bit. I know they kick ass, but they're quite a bit pricier than your run of the mill laptop and I'm just not worth it. Yet.

Growing up, my best friend lived in a house sort of like this... It had secret rooms in it.

Whilst looking for pics of aforementioned Luma building I found this:-

Truly bizarre, deco buildings alongside a dog.

That is truly bizarre. I mean, I like dogs. And I like architecture. But to mix them together?
It's like Costanza when he tried to combine sex and eating: weird.
