Pictures of pictures

Yeah. They're a bit faded and distorted. Such is life.
When I graduated from E.M.S. in '94 (fack, I'm old) I had my grad photos done. And my dad took photos of the photos so we didn't have to buy them because they're such a rip off.
My dad, like me, loved taking photos.
My dad, like me, loved finding ways of getting photos for free.
I also take my own teabags on the BC Ferries so I don't have to pay for tea.
And I have recently taken to the concept of sleeping in my car while on the ferry, instead of going to the passenger lounge because sleep is more enjoyable.
When I was a little girl, like four years old, my dad buried me under some newspapers in the backseat of our car so that he didn't have to pay to get me on the ferry when we were heading up to Lasqueti.
If I had a kid, I would so do the same thing.

Paying for photos is the biggest rip off. The profit off one photo like grad shots is something like 98%! My brother used to do wedding photos and he'd just charge his buddies for the film and the paper, not all the chemicals and time. He'd also be able to drink as much beer as he wanted at the wedding. I bet those end of the evening shots were good.
