It's snowing in North Van again and I'm still not in bed (what are you going to do about it?)

Insomnia much?
So, this is the song that prevented me from becoming entirely despondent and offing myself in 2008. Canadian music fucking rocks.
I have a myriad of other things to say, but they are all alcohol induced, so instead I will simply say "high five!" and resign myself to the fact that I will be sleeping in rather late tomorrow and having Gatorade for breakfast.
Dude. It's really snowing. It's like Christmas eve all over again, minus the stray bird and the sobbing.

Surprisingly... I liked that.

It's catchy!
I admit to dancing around the apartment when this song comes on.
Thank god I live alone.

I'm always dancing... I used to get my tap shoes out and dance around the kitchen, but they don't fit anymore and the ceramic tile floor doesn't sound as good as the old peel and stick kind that was here before. I mostly stick to the Selena aerobics and two-stepping to Pat Green.

Was a bit low myself in 2008 but also managed not to off myself. Actually I didn't do it cos I wanted to become a blog stalker. You're the chosen one.

[evil roar] as Maria would say ;-)

Keep your pecker up girl. Things always get better :-)

Is "keep your pecker up" a British thing? Cause it means something vastly different across the pond.
Actually, back in the days when I had a job I got an email from our UK office and a guy said something like "sorry for the cock up". We had a field day with that one. My boss painted a picture of a rooster next to an arrow on a mug and gave it to me. Cock. Up.

'Keep your pecker up' is the same as saying 'keep your chin up'. Both mean don't be sad/down, be happy/smile/be positive, etc.

Pecker in the British definition means 'nose'. I've just googled it and now see the error in translation!!! [hugely embarrassed smilie]

LOL... that's funny.

Funny for you. My face is still glowing with embarrassment :-|
