My drug of choice

Lovin' the penicillin. Kill that tonsillitis. Kill it!
Can't remember what I blogged about last time.
I have been eating entirely, entirely too much food and not exercising (not that I much feel like it given my current and fragile state of health).
I got the new Dido CD! Yay! Because I don't have cable I didn't even know there was a new Dido CD.
Made a pretty bad blunder reminiscent of Opera Guy's rental of a Johnny Depp movie that was overtly sexual. Yeah. Rented "Step Brothers" and watched it with Michael, his mom and his sister. Right. I think the best bit was when Will Ferrell put his scrotum on John C. Reilly's drum set. There are some things you don't want to watch with your mother in law who is in her mid seventies. Goddamnit. And the swearing was atrocious.
Last news: changed my flight to match Michael's. We're both flying out of here at 6am tomorrow morning because it was cheaper than switching his flight to my 5pm one. Ah well.
So that's pretty much all I got.
I can't believe how fast the time flew up here.

Ha... we rented the 'wrong' movie with my Mom visiting once... it was a Bruce Willis... the one that shows full frontal nudity in a swimming scene... no shrinkage! I can't even remember the name of the movie, but I remember the good part.

Many years ago, I once rented what I'd heard was a funny film - 'Father of the Bride' - to watch with my new girlfriend at her folks house. I didn't know they were going to be watching the film with us. No wonder I kept getting 'knowing' looks from her dad! We never got married but I think I'll always cringe when I remember that inappropriate choice of film.

Be safe next time and go with Caligula. It's a real crowd pleaser. You can't go wrong with an extremely violent hardcore porn movie starring Malcolm McDowell, Peter O'Toole, Sir John Gielgud, and Helen Mirren.

Thanks, guys. I feel much less alone. I will pass on "Caligula" for now though. ;)
