Wow. So, didn't make it to my brother's even though he was out this way and offered to pick us up. I felt (feel) really bad about that but the snow was outrageous and I'm sick and, well, in retrospect it all would've worked out fine if we had gone with him since his Volvo is awesome in the snow.
That said, I am sick. Like, yay. Merry Christmas.
Also? I have to get up at 5am and yet, curiously, here I am blogging at my mom's place. Uh, duh.
Christmas dinner at Nana and Ed's was awesome, though short (and punctuated with coughing fits). I was relegated to the 'isolation corner'. The upshot? I didn't have to hug anyone. Ha!
A sad Christmas, though. Christmas Eve my mom and I went out for dinner. The only place open was an Indian restaurant on Broadway which, ironically, I've always wanted to check out and it was fantastic. I would absolutely go back. Then we watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" which actually was as funny as everyone recommended. That rarely happens.
Right.
So. Supposedly flying out of YVR at 8.20 tomorrow morning. If Air Canada fucks me over I'm going to throw a fit in the airport.
Look for me getting tasered on the noon news.
Merry Christmas, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful day filled with family and friends and food and wine and love.
