Nice concession speech by McCain. Thank god they didn't allow Palin to talk.
I feel bad for what Obama has inherited and I hope he can turn it around in time for people to appreciate what he's done so the Dems can get in again next year, but people have a short attention span and when the economy, foreign policy and the various ongoing wars aren't resolved within six months people will probably get irate.
Also? Fuck you, Harper.
Crowds are gathering outside the White House. They want Bush out, like now. I love it. I hope Oprah breaks through the gates and storms the White House.

I actually thought the McCain speech was quite classy. I think he leans a bit to the left and that he won't have much trouble sleeping tonight.
Obama's speech, however (and unfortunately), wasn't as inspirational as I had hoped.
But talking is talking, and anyone can talk. Let's see if Obama can walk the walk (please, please walk the walk, please).
