It's like fricking Siberia out there

What's the deal? I go for a nice long walk, bring a book and some snacks, and like 10 minutes after I sit down it gets windy and hazy and cold. I guess summer is really, really over. Brrr...
I love snacks.
I'm still tired from Sunday's run and we have to do this crazy circuit at a local park tonight and I'd really rather not. Cause it's cold. And there won't be any snacks.
An electrician came to look at my dishwasher today because it leaked recently. He reckons it's because I put too much detergent in it once. Maybe. Maybe in my exuberance I was heavy-handed whilst measuring out the detergent. The fun thing we discovered is that you can open the door of the dishwasher mid cycle. That's interesting. He is going to order the part needed to fix it (it's all under warranty because of the horseshoe/bum factor) and in the meantime he advised me not to open the door while the dishwasher is running. D'oh! How else am I going to get my kicks these days, but to open an appliance that is whipping hot, frothy water around with some force?
Maybe I'll play with my washer/dryer combo and see if I can short-circuit something.
Man. The hour long nap I just had made me hungry.
